Our Property

Our property is located in Lorne Valley, New South Wales, Australia. It’s a prime hub for beef production, thanks to its favourable climate and fertile lands. With an average annual rainfall ranging between 1,000 to 1,200 mm, the region boasts lush pastures that provide ample grazing opportunities for cattle.

The abundant rainfall ensures a consistent growth of nutritious grasses throughout the year, which is essential for raising healthy and high-quality beef cattle. The temperate climate of Lorne Valley also supports year-round grazing, allowing farmers to maintain their herds without the need for extensive supplementary feeding.

The fertile soils of Lorne Valley contribute to the lush pasture growth, providing an ideal environment for cattle to thrive. The region was previously utilised as a dairy production hub but due to the market squeeze in dairy production, many of these farmers scaled back and resided to easier beef production.

Overall, Lorne Valley's combination of favourable climate, fertile soils, and abundant rainfall makes it a prime location for beef production, supporting the livelihoods of local farmers and contributing to the region's reputation for producing high-quality Australian beef.
